AP's new favorite spot! |
Ok, so he looks blind but I can assure you he isn't! Had to show off his funny little legs. |
I kicked off the this past weekend with Girl's Night Out. A few of the ladies from EC1 headed to Berkley to enjoy Jess's new place, drink wine, and make pizza. Thanks Jess for the great night!
Olive-just one of the girls! |
Jess, Jess, and Robin prepping the ingredients. |
Pauby wasn't happy about being in front of the camera and used Robin as a human shield. |
Three girl scouts and this is the best the fire ever got. We blame the wood. |
Saturday, Scott and I had date night. We decided to live the life of Katie (since she was arriving the next day) and start at the W Hotel and then head to Oola, a regular of hers (is that funny since she lives in NY?!). It was so nice to get out together and enjoy a night on the town just the two of us. We had wonderful food and wine, great conversation and mediocre service. I prefer to focus on the first two :-). Oh, and did I mention it was our 5 month anniversary? Time flies...
First stop-XYZ Bar (we are clearly trend setters as we were the first to arrive Saturday night, that's what we're telling ourselves anyway) |
Scott hates this picture...I think he looks cute :-) |
Hello! |
I loved the quotes on the menu, "Alcohol may be man's worst enemy, but the bible says love your enemy." Frank Sinatra. Can't argue with Frank or the Bible. |
"Wine is the most healthful and most hygienic of beverages" Louis Pasteur. Yep. |
So much goodness on this pizza I can't even describe! |
Margherita! |
It was a great weekend, however I don't think I'll be needing pizza for at least a whole week (let's be real, it won't take much longer than that for my cheesy-dough cravings to return).
Stay tuned for the big furniture reveal this week!
